No wrong or right, though it can be a little difficult. It's so easier to get the context confused or for a joke to go wrong when it's just words on a screen as you need vocal tone to be indicators of these. I don't think there's anything wrong with texting therefore, I just think it's safer and probably more fun to flirt in person.

Flirting by text can be fun but things 'said' can be taken out of context and can get confusing. Tread carefully, keep text flirting minimal and invite them out for dinner instead ;o)

I flirt by text with my boyfriend all the time, sometime I know he can receive a call but he can easily look at a text message I send and it makes his day :-) Go ahead - all is fair in love and war

If your single then of course theres no problem with it. Some people agree with this and some people dont. I wouldnt put up with it in a relationship to be honest. Theres obviously not something quite right in the realtionship if one person has to go looking elsewhere. Whats the point?

Right!!

It gives you a proper chance to think about what youre going to say before you say it, whereas if you flirt to someones face you think quick and usually say something stupid.

Depends on who you are flirting with, who you are involved with etc. If it is you and your one and only significant other then sure flirt away!

Well... I think that if you know the person already, it is ok. If not, it is like online dating. You can be anybody you want to be, but not necessarily who you truly are. And that is creepy to me to think that I'm "giving myself over" via text to someone that might be providing a false cover...
