One of my friends has a bad *** scooby doo tattoo that covers his entire back, it's got the van and a haunted mansion in the background and all the gang. It's really impressive.

my aunt has a lion that covers her from her right shoulder until right above her right butt cheek it look awsome she has had it for so long the first i seen it i was in shock be cause she is so proper she wouldn't even let her daughter get her second hole in her ear!!

My tattoo artist won a nation wide contest in a tattoo show two years ago for a piece on his right thigh. It covers his entire thigh and is a full colour Mariachi playing a classical guitar, but the catch is that the Mariachi is a very intricate skeleton. It took him a very long time to complete and I got to see it during its many stages; it turned out to be absolutely breathtaking though. He has some very interesting pieces.

In person, I haven't seen too many impressive pieces. Maybe a good sleeve or two and a few nicer done back pieces, but nothing I've felt to be jaw dropping amazing.
Online however, I have found work from people like Pavel Angel and Nick Baxter who do incredible work that I would save up for a lifetime to get.

I saw this awsome tattoo of a native amazonia's face on some guys back (at the NYC tattoo convention). It was amazing detail.

Saw a pic of a biomechanical sleeve on ratemyink, it was pretty mind blowing. And in a pretty close second would be one I also saw on ratemyink of the Joker from the Batman movie.

there are no tattoos that i have seen that i can remember standing out as incredible but more so artists whos work is consistently ridiculously good.
