History tells that prophet Muhammed used to work as a shepherd and as a trader before his marriage to Khadija, but it never told us how could he make living after being a 'prophet'?
From my understanding that he had eleven wives to support. He had ELEVEN homes to look after. History tells us he had lands and slaves. He even gave away slaves to his daughter, Fatma.
The Quran states that prophet Muhammed was entitled to take 1/5 of the loots from every raid. Was that the only way he made living after being a prophet is by war looting? or did he do something else?
