How long does Xanax stay in your system if you only took it once? 2 bars were taken at one time and none since or before. That was 3 days ago and ofcourse a random drug test today now. This is for a 6'2" 230 lbs guy....didnt know if that mattered or not.

The test will be urine and its in about 30 mins....wonderful huh?
(not for me by the way....seeing as Im a girl and all)
Anyway, will water help? or just give suspicion?
He is under a ton of stress.....actually is prescribed prozac but has only been on that 3 weeks. He took the xantac to ease his anxiety and tension.

well first of all he shouldn't be taking it without a prescription! and if he is then there is no worry. I don't know how long it would stay in one system everyone processes medication differently, my guess would be 48 to 72 hours, but remember in most drug tests they are looking for specific drugs they won't see xantax unless they were looking for it.

The length of time any drug (illicit or prescribed) stays in your system will vary. In large part, it depends on your physiological makeup or well your activness and weight... could sweat it out in alittle over a month but in some cases it would stay for up to three months.. Whether or not you are undergoing any degree of stress at the time you ingest drugs can play a part as well.

2 days should be enough to clean it out of your system. I passed one last week in your exact same situation. It had been 3 days since i had eaten xanax and I passed the urine test
