credit card company says to try to resolve it with them first

if i were in your place I'll be interested in how to get my hair back

but yes you have to solve it with them first.otherwise everybody is gonna buy whatever goods or services and then call his credit card company and stop payment

I had the same issue just 2 weeks ago. First I was overcharged and I was not at all happy with the cut they gave me. I contacted the owner and spoke with him. He of course tried to play cat and mouse, but supposedly he will send me a refund. I also called my CC company and complained. The charge is going through a dispute right now.

Cosmetology licenses are issued by the state. Find out which department regulates cosmetology licenses in your state (in Texas it is the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and is advised by the Advisory Board on Cosmetology).

So, find out which government agency you'd need to contact, and then go to the beauty salon and tell them that if they don't refund your money, you will go to that agency, file a formal complaint, and do whatever you need to do to get their license revoked. By law, the person who cut and colored your hair cannot continue to practice cosmetology without a license. That'll scare 'em.

Talk to the owner of the salon. At the salon I work at, we don't give money back but we will redo the service free of charge if you call or come back in within in a week of the service.

I would tell them you're unhappy. Say that you want your money back. If you complain long enough, chances are they will give you the money back just so you shut up.

complain to the BBB.com, they will handle the complaint get your money back and get you something for your troubles. trust me i use it all the time.
