Carseats are required by law. In Toronto, a lot of cab companies now have car seats, so call ahead of time and ask for one when the cab comes.

Be aware of Toxic Molds in Toronto, as it is a serious hazard for your baby. I am not sure about what you must do in a cab, but if you do not follow exact rule Toronto Police may give you a ticket. Make sure to use your seat belt, and you may use it over your baby while he is in your lap. If it is carseat, still make sure to use SEAT BELT. he City of Toronto is very hungry and would charge you a lot of Money if you don't wear your seat belt.

Yap as all expalined u will be needing a Car Seat, u can bring ur own otherwise few cabbies have these seats.
If u use Beck Taxi and call them at 416-751-5555 ask operator that u will be needing a cab having a car seat only

You will need a car seat if she is under 40 lbs.
you may want to check car rental companies - you may be able to rent one; or inquirer with with cab company if they have a cab equipped to carry children....

Yes, you need a carseat.
Car-seats and babies go together like babies and diapers.
You can't have one without the other, even when traveling.
