Precisely because there was no closure and it was a sudden stop, that's why you still think about him. I have gone through something like that, but worse. The particular guy just started to ignore me one day for no apparent good reason. Several years later, I still thought about him. I have learnt to get past that, but the best way to get past it is to seek closure.

of course if you had a strong connection with the person. if the relationship came to a screaming halt that person is still on your mind, and your probably wondering what happened. its especially hard if there is no closure. however it too is possible to move on hold your head up high and let it go it's a thing of the past. there are a sea of men out there. another great thing to do is take all the energy you use thinking about him and do something positive with it. read a book, go for a walk, work out, or find a hobby something that interests you. you have to be strong you are the only person that can remove him from your mind. im sure you will do fine.

OMG I am in the exact same situation. Think about him, about calling him, about driving by his house. And sometimes he calls me me in the middle of the night and I don't answer. Hurt him last year and don't ever want to do that again. So I don't call him or answer his calls. But for you, think you should talk to him, even if just to get that closure that you've never had. Maybe then you can either move on or find a new spark with him. Best of luck. E-mail if you want to talk. KRS

yes-definitely. probably cause there was no closure. I have been with my husband for over 6 years and i still have feelings for the guy i was with before him(i wasn't even with him for a year!). probably due to the no closure thing. not that i would leave my hubby for that a**hole or anything, but still, every time his name is mentioned my heart (whether i agree with it or not) still skips a beat.

Yes it's still possible. Very possible.
I was 14/15 years-old when I first truly fell in love. It seems young now, but I know it wasn't an infatuation because it lasted for four years. He was a friend of mine who was head over heels for me, but one day he just stopped calling. Just like that.
So for four years I thought of nothing but him. I'm over it now, but yes, it's very possible.

you can have feelings for someone you NEVER had a relationship with who you've known for years.. it doesnt matter you can't help the way you feel.. its completely normal and 110% ok.. just be careful of getting hurt.. so the answer to your question is yes. goodluck. =]

Of course it is....I say, call him, and tell him that you need closure....if he's any sort of a man, he'll do it.
