False. Not just young children. Adults are affected too. Religion was created as a way to keep order and make people behave a certain way. Spirituality comes naturally, religion is man made.

No. Weren't most religions formed by adults who saw problems in their original religion or religion in general? Martin Luther, Henry VIII, Fox, Ann Lee, Joseph Smith, Wesley, Miller, etc. Children who are not yet tanagers are likely influenced by what they are taught by their parents and teachers, but that goes for math, history and English as well as religion. Our beliefs are also influenced by the media, but I do not consider that brain washing.
Young children are impressionable and what they learn early on will have an impact on their adult lives, but adhering to a formal religion is probably much harder today that it used to be, so a good religious foundation is important.

False. I made a decision at age 26.
Why do people believe that all Christians were raised in it and brainwashed? A lot of children had no religious upbringing, including me.

True, from being born every child is cooerced into believing in the fairy stories written in the so called religious books, then when they are old enough they have religious education forced down their throats in schools. Then more likely than not they are herded into the scouts, guides etc by their parents. Then of course there is the religious trash propagated by the newspapers, television and politicians along with the whinging lying religious leaders.

The term "brainwashing" is an particularly confusing one. once you're a make certain and you tell your babies to not do drugs, ingesting is undesirable, etc., isn't that still "brainwashing?" for the reason which you recognize that those classes are substantial for the life of your toddler, you're making to drill in those ideals at a youthful age. for many, faith is a substantial, or the main, area of life. They strongly have faith that their faith is actual and for the sake of the toddler and themselves, "brainwash" their young ones. that still would desire to pass below regardless of if or not this is the youngsters fault for being brainwashed (case in point: the Nazis or the present day terrorists). My perception is that in case you pass to some distance with it then that's brainwashing, like not permitting them to adventure of slightly of a few thing diverse, if it would desire to be effective to them. that's an particularly comfortable and arguable subject rely, yet i desire my solutions have helped make clean slightly extra! :)

true. i think both parents and children are unaware of this subtle conditioning but i believe it does exist. however other variables would have to be taken into consideration if this hypothesis were to be supported. some children rebel against thier parent or guardians, teachers etc, resulting in that individual not complying with a parents views.

If religion was all caused by brainwashing of children, then that begs the question of who started it? Some adults at some point decided to believe, and to teach their children.
And how do you explain adult converts? And why do adults persist in following the religion that they were taught? Surely they were exposed to different ideas growing up, and chose to reject them.

False. Religion is a product of delusional minds. As human society advances and communications and freedom of thought become increasingly available then ignorance and superstition will be rejected. Tomorrow's children should be able to break this vicious circle of lies.

False. Many people leave their religious education and training behind when they become adults and take on totally different views. And on the opposite, many people who have no religious upbringing choose to follow a certain religion on their own accord.
