No, its probably not very good for them. I'm not sure why, but I don't think its a good idea. I don't even think they would like it though because I have a 4 year old sister who doesn't like for her bath water to be super hot, let alone be in a hot tub. Why?

Be cautious about the kid standing on their head or diving down near the bottom suction hole. I've read twice of a tragedy involving the circulating plumbing snaring a child.
