At the time of Jesus crowning in 1914, his true followers would proclaim his arrival and the things he would soon accomplish. The "evil slave" consisted of those who contradicted these words and persecuted all Christians who preached Christ's enthronement.

So ask yourself: What group of people was subject to slander, imprisonment, and physical abuse due to their message as of 1914, and who instigated this mistreatment???

It was a lesson depicting a slave who had been treated very kindly by his master but instead of taking his masters kindness of an example on how to live, he went out and beat other slaves. I would say that it means we are to treat others as God/Christ treats us.
