The Bible proclaims that Saturday is the Sabbath.
Christians traditionally meet in church on Sunday.
Two different days, but Saturday Sabbath was created for man, not for God, or so Jesus taught.
Think of Sunday worship as giving God the first-fruits of our week, rather than the last.
And don't foget, that we can worship God EVERY Day of the week.

Jews consider Saturday the sabbath. Most Christians consider Sunday the sabbath. There are some Christian denominations, Seventh Day Adventists for one, who consider Saturday the sabbath. The Ten Commandments in Exodus says to keep holy the sabbath, but does not exactly say which day is the sabbath, nor does it say what time a day begins. Christians changed the sabbath to Sunday because Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday.

Jesus fulfilled the law. So exactly what did Jesus fulfill. If Jesus kept God's law, what part of the law is deemed absolute?
The weekly Sabbath! And annual Sabbaths! Not the resurrection. First observe the weekly Sabbath and annual Sabbath's, then the rest will be put into it's proper place.
The weekly Sabbath is not Sunday the first day of the week, rather it is the last day of the week and starts at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Not midnight to midnight under the current theme of thinking of time.

The Sabbath day is a day set aside for worship of the Lord. it can be anyday. (Remember Jesus the big crime under which Jesus was Crucified was not keeping the Sabbath according to the Jewish tradition or calendar. So to say it is one specific date that is only the Sabbath is actually counter Jesus. Christians being a community religon do celebrate it on Sunday since the it is a day most if not all can gather together.)
to the first person, remember the Sabbath was in existence long before the Gregorian Calendar, it was the making of the Calendar that put Sunday as the first day, not God so it could be anyday that is the day of rest according to God.... he doesn;t follow the gregorian calendar

My understanding is that the Sabbath is a day to honor GOD and rest.
It was originally on the last day of the week which I say would be Friday night until Saturday night.
I don't completely know for sure how or why it changed, never studied the old Biblical calendar much.
Jesus came to fulfill the laws.
I don't know if God is mad at us for not worshiping on the right day...I think He wants us to worship HIM every day and I set aside time for that each day.
We have moved so far from HIM and that is a problem with the world, don't get me started on the problems of the world.
We are not to be of this world, just dwell here for a time and show others love, such as God so loves us and such as Jesus loved us to his death.
Too much information, sorry.
Peace and blessing.

The Sabbath day for me is Sunday, since Jesus was resurrected on Sunday the Sabbath was changed from Saturday. It doesn't really matter though. The sabbath day is a day of rest, a day to reflect on Heavenly Father. My family goes to church, we do not watch TV, we do not work on the Sabbath day, and we do not buy anything since that requires someone else to work on the Sabbath day. Obviously doctors and other professionals who NEED to work on Sunday work on Sunday, I am sure Heavenly Father understands. A typical Sunday for us is go to church, come home, spend time together, maybe go home teaching (teach other members in their homes) have the missionaries over for dinner, play games, basically be together as a family worshipping Heavenly Father.

My understanding of the Sabbath is: in the time before Jesus was born, Sabbath was kept on Saturday because GOD rested on the seventh day. Jesus was born, hung on the cross and was resurrected on Sunday, that is why most Christians go to church on Sunday. As long as we believe that Jesus died for our sins, so that we may be resurrected,(my opinion )either day is good. Everyday is Holy to me. I worship God and Jesus everyday.
