Theres a guy i started seeing about a week ago, he seemed really into me and asked me to go out with him on our first date. he doesnt plague me with texts but he texts me everyday, and already has a toothbrush at my house! ive told him to take it more slowly but i still feel a little bit like its all too good to be true? Hes lovely, intellegent, kind, funny, sweet nice body polite - there must be something wrong right?? LOL!! he doesnt speak very much english and i am helping him. my friend thinks he might need a visa (although she says she was joking) i dont think he does!! He really does seem genuine but Ive never ever had a boyf like this before! Am a just too jaded or are there really still romantic genuine guys out there!!??!!

shouldnt have put that in about the visa, he already has one to study here for the next few years!! he also treats me really well and takes me out a lot?? Maybe im jsut being paranoid???

Just take it slow...make sure you both are ready. Don't jump into marriage and give the relationship some time. I thought that the first 8/9 months of my (so far) 15 month relationship was so perfect... He seemed like he was so perfect (even though I know no one is perfect). But then, he started to get mean to me, and started to emotionally abuse me. And it just keeps getting worse. I am currently trying to break up with him. All I am saying is to be careful! Get to know the real him.

I am in a similar situation and i think we both should just seize the moment and take a chance. I think if you worry so much about what if then you are cheating yourself. So the main question is: Are you reluctant because he is crowding you or because you have doubts? If it is just annoying you then this isnt gonna work but for the record, i do think they still are out there and i hope he is the one.

It sounds to me as if you should enjoy being with a good guy like that while you can, if he changes, then you can always dump him. It's very rare you get a nice guy, but you never know, he might be one of them.

Yeah, they are hidden, but they are out there. Be careful, some guys are just trying to get something out of you by making you think they are fond of you.

depends on whether he is a u.s. citizen or not....if he is, then his intentions are true, if not, well, slow and steady ahead I guess....but keep your antenna up!...i wish you the best and hope he is true!
