The Health department is coming to my school to give ALL 6th graders, including me, the tetnis shot so that we can go on to 7th grade.

Tetanus jabs are in the arm, they don't hurt much but ache for a while afterwards. Has to be done babe !!

Usually you are given a Tetnus shot in the upper arm. It may be swollen and sore for a few days, not so bad though. Good luck.

By the way, you need a booster shot every 10 years.

wow... u get your shots at the school? thats diffrent.. im a sophmore((10th grade)) and i have never gotten my shots at school.... anyway... usually the tetnis shot is in the arm..

you get it in the arm...and let me tell you, the shot itself, doesn't hurt that much, like a shot, you know. But the 'after' pain, oh my god. Its like someone punched you in the arm with an iron fist at 600 MPH. It will friggin' hurt!!!

you get it in the fatty part of the upper arm. The good news is you only have to get it once every ten years. (When you get it you realize why;)
