I have. Two became great friends, others were not who I thought they were. You're right to say you wouldn't, because you shouldn't. Some have great experiences but the experiences I had made me decide to never venture there again. I still have to get rid of a stalker who phones me on the house phone.

During my early 20s, I was a young, bored, bold & adventurous lass. Online chats were so popular then and even till now.
I had my fair share of meeting up with online strangers/friends.
I came across perverted ones requesting for sex which I tactfully rejected.
Made some good friends along the way.
Met many for clubbings & coffee sessions. I am really grateful I have not met any hardcore psycho maniacs.
There are 101 types of people online. No all would be lurking predators. Many online romances turned true romances in reality.
People meeting strangers for the 1st time need to exercise caution and learn how to protect themselves should they be cornered into uncomfortable situations. Do not be too naive.
All in all, we need to be educated and discreet online surfers.

I met 2 people, after many online and telephone chats. Arrange to meet in a public place. Let at least 1 person know what your doing, at what time and where you'll be along with an expected time back. Tell them the name of the person and show them a pic if you have one.
Play it safe, but enjoy the new experience too!

I met my man on the net, He is awesome, we have both met other women on here also. Its pretty nice meeting on the net you just have to be careful about first meetings and getting to know people, before spending to much time alone with that other person. Could be dangerous for women meeting men without a friend with you or meeting in a very public place.

I met my fiancee from the internet. It was actually great because we got to talk A LOT before we met in person & we really got the opportunity to get to know each other. When we met in person for the first time it wasn't like we were meeting for the first time.... it was more like we had known each other for many years & we were just reuniting after a long time apart.
We've been together for over 4 years now, and we're planning on getting married soon. :-)

I have met 3, I spoke to the 2 for years before we met. Now we are friends. The 3rd felt like a blind date. Spontaneous - but still exciting in a sense. I would most certainly be careful of whom you are meeting though!

I met my fiancee on line thru yahoo personals. Been together for over 2 years, getting ready to get married this spring, couldn't be happier!! Guess I am one of the lucky ones tho, he was the first guy that I met in person after chatting with online.

i met my fiancee off the net , well mobile wap site 3 years ago we are still together , it`s possible to find love that way even if not intended , but if you do meet someone make sure it is in a crowded place ,
