The Bible says nothing explicit about the Rapture. Most Christians don't believe in it. Some do. It all depends on what they teach at your Church.

Fundamentalists, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Baptists, and followers of Hal Lindsey all believe in the Rapture. Catholics, Methodists, Church of Christ, and thousands of other denominations don't.

You notice that nobody else is citing an actual scripture that proves the coming of the rapture, right? That's because the concept stems from a misinterpretation of a scripture in (1?) Thessalonians where Paul says we (referring to the anointed to rule with Christ still living during his presence) will be caught away into the clouds.
The rapture is not actually taught in the Bible. Revelation? Where?

I believe in the Rapture because the Bible says there will be one. I am ready for it. Are you? If you want to find out more about it, then I would encourage you to read the New Testament so that you can gain an understanding of the teachings of Christ and then read the book of Revelation, which describes the Rapture and the Tribulation to follow. I don't mean that to sound snide, because that isn't my intent. I just want to encourage you to read about it for yourself.

Birds of Prey? No thats Raptor.

I for one couldn't find any reason to believe in the rapture when I WAS a Christian, needless to say I don't believe in one now.

Although it would be nice for something like that to happen, because it would reduce overpopulation problems, and I would get a new Mercedes that my affluent Christian neighbors put around in.

Yes I believe there will be one. I believe it because of the book of Revelation in the Bible. I have learned about it in church and attended Bible studies on the book of Revelation.

I don't. It is not biblically supported at all, and is a relatively new idea.
