I am 8 weeks out of detox and I'm trying to work hard on my recovery but it is still constant work. Does it become easier the longer you are in recovery?

About a year ago i was taking so many diffrent narcotics! I went through detox a year ago! I still have problems to this day! You have to give yourself time to get off the drugs! Your body is still reacting from them and the mental part of your body still thrives on them! So just keep doing what your doing and relax! Give it time at your own pace! It will get better!

I've been clean for almost 4 years - and there are still times that the craving is still there. But YES it deff gets easier and easier each day and your thoughts go there less and less. But in order to be successful you need to replace Oxycontin with something else in your life. Exercise is one the best methods as the endorphins we release when we exercise are similar to the morphine.

What an awesome solution you get a great bod while staying clean!

of course it does. you have to keep your mind active and busy. relapse comes usually when you stop doing things.
