First of all these aren't my views, someone else's.and I disagree but they're pretty interesting.

The bible never said that your significant other would be either a man or woman. he said partner.(Instead of saying husband and wife it says partner?)

Homosexuality isn't a sin because it's not in the Ten Commandments.

Where does it say partner and why were we made "man and woman"?

Yes, homosexuality is in the Ten Commandments it falls under You shall not commit adultery. Adultery defined as sex with anyone other than your opposite sex husband or wife.

Not a Christian but I have read different verses claiming homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord; also heard that Jesus says absolutely nothing about it.
The attitude toward slavery was very different, too. Jesus uses it in his stories but doesn't own any or tell anyone else any opinion on it. Whereas the OT has God giving rules about how long you can own a slave and what he considers 'fair' punishment.
The OT has some of the founding fathers practicing polygamy and Sarah is Abraham's half-sister.
What's acceptable in Christianity obviously changes over time.

The Bible does talk about sexual transgression in many, many places, both in Old and New Testament. And it does specifically refer to homosexuality.

The Ten Commandments are fairly broadly written. I would submit that it IS in the Ten Commandments, under the one about "adultery".

I do think the bible says that a man shall not lay with a man as he lays with a woman.

I knew you were a bigot when I saw your name. I was right!

Actually I could not care less what the bible says.
