other than being a believer ? i had a dream this morning and before i woke up in my sleep heard you are a child of God.
Does it just mean i am a christian or does it have another meaning. i strongly believe in dreams

As for the comment from the doctor...I guess you dont know how to answer questions without being rude. my question what could the dream mean, i had a humble question and was asking people who actually believe in our Lord to answer.

It means that you strongly believe in dreams.

A child of God is someone who has been born again, born again of God. That person has God's life on top of their human life. And to them, God is their heavenly Father. A child is not mature though, and needs to grow. A Christian who grows spiritually then eventually becomes a son of God.

Since God is our Father, His spiritual children are those who love Him and keep His commandments.
It is not enough to say "I believe in God."
Remember, the Devil believes in God, too!

Child of God means that God is your Father and he looks at you in the standpointe of a Child. So we talk to him like we would with our own father telling him our pain and or our needs. Like a Child a Father takes care of his Children.

It means that you are your heavenly fathers child. It also depends if you are active in going to church. If you dont go then try going a couple times and see how you like it and if you already go then maybe you need to take a step in you religion like getting babtized depending on your religion. It was god that was speaking to you. Follow you heart and let god guide you.

Doesn't necessarily mean that you are a Christian, but it doesn't refute that sentiment either.
It means that you are created in his likeness and image, much like a child is created in the likeness and image of its parents.
It means that your relationship with God, is much like that of a nurturing relationship of a child and parent and should be treated as such.
