I am 21 year old female and I dont consider myself an expert on sex or anything of that sort but I went to borrow some paper from my 18 year old brothers tablet and I saw a paper he had on the inside front cover and it was a list of women he " spanked the monkey to " and I couldnt believe all the women on there. It was like pages of 500 plus women from celebrities like Lindsay Lohan to some of my parents female friends to even female cousins. There was also a section called " skirt with no panties section " with names underneath that. Should I be alarmed? Should I show this to his school counselor or tell my dad? I am worried.

Your brother's an adult, and it's his business. Probably just like a joke or something. If you're really concerned about it, just give him the paper sometime privately, and say something like "Hey...umm..I didn'y want to say anything, but you might want to be more discreet about where you keep this..." and leave it at that.

Good Luck.

Well, Ed D, all people fantasize. To have a broad spectrum of people that he considers attractive is not necessarily a bad thing. Idolizing celebrities is very common fr all teenagers. Even you... Anyway, if you take it to your father he would probably be amazed at the number of people on it and probably white out the 'cousins' you mentioned. That part is a little funny, not the haha variety, but unless he begins acting out on these people in a mean, vulgar way then there really is no problem. I know it's disturbing for you, but it is not like you don't have a mental list of guys you like. If you were to write them all down and keep adding to it as you got older then it would look like his list as well... Sometimes it is good to think the best of people before going insane on them. Before you get angry or upset with him ask yourself.

How old is he?
How many years could this list have been compiled over?
Is he normally vulgar in his perversion?
How many people has he said raunchy things to?
Does he touch other people improperly?

Also if you are going to tattle on his list, Show it to your father first!!! The "School Guidance Counselor" is a fool that couldn't cut it as an independent psychiatrist and will harm your brothers natural emotional development. Not to mention that they are people that are outside of the family unit and therefore not able to fully realize their proper place. This will embarrass him. That would be very bad, because it could just be a way to vent. But then again if you are going to show someone show pops... It's best for the situation...

The fact that he's "spanking the monkey" isn't too alarming, but the fact that he's keeping a list of the women he's fantasizing about is a little weird to me. What would happen if you asked him about it? I'm not saying that masturbation always leads to sexual deviance, but sexual deviance almost always follows masturbation. I think if you have a good enough relationship with him, ask him about it.

I think that you should approach your brother , let him know that you just went to borrow a piece of paper and you came across something that you were concerned about, and let him know how you feel about what you saw., before you show it to a counselor or anyone for that matter. it would be most likely embarrassing for him, so i would just keep it between you too until you talk about it . then if you are still concerned then talk to someone else about it.

You sound like a very concern sister. I could understand your feelings since I too have a younger brother. I think you should ask your brother about it without any hasitations.Try to find out more about your brother's friends & the people closest to him, since their could be some of his friends with vulger thoughts & share with all the other friends, may be this could be the reason behind this.
Don't loose hope everything will be alright just give some time.
All the best .

I would be concerned, too. Although there are 500 names on it, it sounds like fantasy, at least partially. My advice is to tell your father, not the school counselor. Your brother may need counseling; if it's fantasy, it's a bit out of control. I seriously doubt that it's factual, but something is amiss.

You should realise that you have inadvertantly invaded your brother's privacy and avoid mentioning to anybody. He's an 18 year old boy, that sort of thing is quite normal. Forget about it.

Don't worry about it.. It's natural. Of course you'd be worried, but that's natural too. Just let him be. It wouldn't serve any purpose if you talked to him. He'd be too embarrased, and I really suggest you don't try that. If you think that there really cause for concern, then the best person to talk to him would be your father.
Adios.

As long as none of the names were children I wouldn't worry that much. He's at his sexual peak, after all. One time I saw a page left open in my male room-mate's journal that was about 9 year old and I confronted him on that.

None of your business, do not tell his counselor or his dad! What's wrong with you? He's 18 for christs sake, and horny, so what? Mind your own business and don't go through his stuff!
