what kind oof tattoo?

I`d like to get a small tattoo on my upper arm with my wee boys name but stuck on what sort of design to go for,i was thinking of a heart,any more nice ideas?

i have two small hearts on my upper arm and i also am going to get my son,s names put around them somewhere, but its harder with 2! anyway i just wanted to say go 4 it don't listen to anyone else, if its what u want (its not like ur having love and hate on ur knuckles lol) and ur son will be around 4 ever so u don't have to worry about having it removed if u...divorce...or fall out lol

Hey Nati, get what I have. You son's name, with angel wings coming out on the side of his name and a halo over top. You can also go to a shop and look at some great designs and you could tell the tattoo artist what you are interested in getting and he could free style one up for you. They have all these ideas and designs in their head so you could try that also. Like I said I have several and most of the time I went knowing what I wanted but when I got there I changed my mind or added more or down sized it because of prices and details. So just go tell em' you want your son name on your upper arm and he can sketch you out alot of ideas. No extra charge either so let us know what you decide.

Well, I always thought it was a good idea maybe to have your son's baby foot print tattooed and maybe his name in the middle... just try to be creative.. don't get anything cliche! Think about something that is individual to your son - believe me you won't regret it!

I would say look up the meaning of his name, that might help. My name means princess so I would get a princess crown or tiera to stand for my name . Maybe you could do something like that with his name.

His name originates from Hawaii and means ocean, so why not something like a hawaii orchid flower or an ocean animal, or something that is associated with either Hawaii or the ocean? With his name underneath or on a scroll underneath or over it? You can get lovely texts styles to gowith the appropriate tattoo. I'll see if I can find some designs for you - watch this space! lol
