At your son's age, he will love repetition. I'd suggest nursery rhymes and lots of picture books from the library. Your computer can lead in the direction your son wants to go. Concentrate on the simple subjects like rhyming, patterns, colors, counting, and most importantly, language. If he bigs to show an interest in bugs, then work on the preschool skills around bugs, or trains, or dinosaurs, etc. Rather than you planning the subject each week, let it happen naturally through play, zoo visits, books, etc. Best of luck!

You can find toddler books on most any subject. There are also sights where you can down load stories and find great art activities. I do not have those sights right off hand but you can google it. Just type in great stories and art activities for toddlers. I print off stories and papers for my son all the time and great ideas for art activities and even field trips.
Good job for helping your child learn a little early, it will help in the long run.

You could buy the books that are touch and feel about animals....puppies, bunnies, chicks, lambs...etc. They have fur or whatever texture the animal has and you can teach him animals and he can have hands on learning. Also, buy a baby word book on body parts and then you can show him his body parts at the same time. Also, colors....you could get things of different colors and put them in front of him and buy a book with the colors and show him as you go along so that he develops a connection. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I bought winnie the pooh work books from walmart. I started my son on them at about 3. He loved them. They have counting, tracing letters and coloring in the lines. There really great books. or try the leap frog books. they work really well too. my son just got the write and learn letter book. they can trace letters, learn to spell simple words and it has a find it, plus musical activities. it was $40 at walmart.

Any book is great at this age as children's minds are like sponges. They take in everything and retain it all. He'll surprise you someday when he recites a book that you've read word for word. Kids are absolutely amazing.

One of my favorite kids books is "Cloudy with a chance of meat balls". It is just a great story, the pictures are great, and afterwards, you guys could make spaghetti and meatballs together.
