Whether one would do this is not the issue. I imagine you wouldn't. The issue is what the rules are.

What if there were no hypothetical questions?
That all depends since you don't base the condition on entering into heaven as God does by being born again through the acceptance of what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross and the shedding of His blood God will know if you did or if you didn't because God will see His only begotten son's blood covering your soul of sin. If not then you've already chosen because you're already condemned. Choosing not to choose is condemning yourself.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
I don't know where you get your ideas but free will won't be over - that obviously doesn't change just because you're in heaven or God would not have had to expell the fallen angels from there. It's your nature that changes - you're going to put on the nature of Jesus Christ in heaven - you get a new body not this one which wants to sin but one that doesn't want to sin and has power over it. You're powerless over sin right now and that's why you find all kinds of excuses to mock the Bible and belief in heaven because that body of yours wants to sin and exalt itself. You're not fooling anyone by trying to make up things that don't exist about a subject you know very little about. Honest skepticism I can take but when I hear stuff like this I know I'm conversing with a fool whose flesh is his master. That's why God offers you a new start and a new life in Christ not that the consequences of our sins in this life are taken away but that when the promise of a new body is fulfilled at the time appointed we'll have power over sin because our nature will be like Jesus Christ who didn't sin so therefore we will not want to sin.
That's what being born again means. Conversely that's also what the second death means - you don't get a new body and a new nature and consequently you can not stand before God. So therefore you're thrown into the Lake of Fire to balance the scales of justice. It's just that you owe an Eternal God so you have to pay up for eternity.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
It's really very simple.

Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son died to save you. YOU choose whether you accept him as Saviour or not. If you are truly born again, that won't be an issue. You'll want to be with Jesus in Heaven. Where are you wanting to go to, Hell? Don't be silly. Heaven is a wonderul place with streets of gold and walls of jasper, but MOST important JESUS HIMSELF!

You choose to go to Heaven by receiving the gift of God. God invites all to come to Him, but few actually choose to go. You won't be forced to do anything. This is why "Christian" pretenders will end up in hell, because they never trusted in Christ.

Heaven does sound very droll. I would not deny an eternal paradise of my own choosing, but if it has to fall under some inhumane set of morals, I would choose an alternate fate.
Thus far, I have no evidence to assume such a place exists.
Freewill is a paradox.

Actually no. Your decision to not go to heaven has already been heard by God at your conception and your answer will be honored without you wondering any further. So you're really using free will as you think.

God is Love (1 Jn 4)
Heaven is being in the presance of God (love).
Hell is moving away from God (love).
Yes, you can still break-up with God and choose to live away from Him. God doesn't want mindless souls worshiping him. He wants you to love Him for the sake of love.

I think free will will always exist. You can probably choose to leave Heaven, Lucifer did. Well, not really, he was forced.
Free will does not end, you just lose some options after you die.

You have no choice. You have no choice now. Even though you have free will, we are as human beings captive to the Will of God. His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Not ours.

Chance is fun. (Even though chance doesn't really exist)
Well, the illusion of chance is fun.
