On most Fords, the "chip" is found as a small box on the main ECU computer under the dash in the glove compartment area.
Contact your local speed shop that sells performance chips for the exact location and installation process for your car.

if the car is a police pack car (intercepter ) they had a different pcm and some other items. so far as chips try under the seat cops like to eat chips when there on a stake out
