i would let the mother do he thing, and only move the dad if he is aggressive, but if i remember right the dad should help the mother care for the babies, including watching and feeding them, just make sure that they always have plenty for food and water, they now have to feed their babies

Just leave the family alone. Ma and Pa are dutiful parents and will care/feed the young. Make sure the parents have plenty of food and clean water. Any other birds in the aviary will also try to feed the young (ma and pa won't let them) and may try to lay (infertile) eggs and nest, as well.
If the parents are aggressive toward young, then chances are the young are not healthy or perhaps siblings (the ones hatched first) are getting all the primo attention and care. Even so, just leave the family alone. Clean up any messes, dead chicks and provide food and clean water.
Early handling of chicks when they are older (with good pin feathers) will accustom them to people and handling. They are a lot of fun and will bond to people, too.

Leave the father in with the mother, unless he starts being very aggressive. He feeds her while she stays in the nest box. He is very needed in raising the chicks.
I raised cockatiels once. They're such happy birds! You can get far towards having friendly babies if you handle the babies regularly once they are a few weeks old. That's what I did to get nice chicks that were friendly towards their new owners. I knew I wasn't set up to hand feed birds, but I did want friendly babies.
Please be sure you are either feeding the parents a pelleted diet, or supplementing their seed diet with greens and egg biscuit or mashed hard-boiled egg. They and the growing chicks need the protein. There are, also, lots of good cockatiel breeding sites on the web that can give you pointers on diet supplementation.
Good luck!

Hi there. Sounds so great. Add chopped cooked egg with the crumbled shell for the extra protein and to avoid calcium depletion. The usual pellet food, limit seeds to 10% and add fruits and veggies soft cooked 10-20%. No cool drafts as you already know. When they have been kicked out of the nest, convert them to this diet and remove the nest box and the male to give your hen a rest between clutches. She will live longer. have a great spring and a great day everyday.

you do not remove the male. The male and female both feed and nurture the chicks. Keep in mind, they have been doing this together long before you came along. Just let them take care of their business and do not interfere. If you are looking to hand raise than get a book and read up on what is needed in order to do this. Otherwise leave them to be cared for by the male and female.

Ha! a good question! I certainly have raised Cockatiels. It takes 30 days to hatch. purely save feeding and watering as accepted. do no longer take daddy out. he will certainly boost the hot chicken. leave them on my own and enable nature take that's direction. the hot chicken would be virtually an identical length because of fact the grownup in 30 days. that's astounding to observe this. while the chicken first hatches, it is going to likely be gruesome, yet will build seems and character speedy. Daddy does lots of the feeding, and being concerned. that's a sight to work out!

You don't need help..you a completely correct. But please be sure mom gets fresh veggie along with seed and pelletted foods. A plain seed diet can cause the crops on the babies to impact, and the may die. Keep up the good job..
