The worst OS that Microsoft came out with was Win ME, it is full of bugs that even Microsoft could not sort out, it is no longer supported by Microsoft, get rid of it. downgrade to Win 98SE or upgrade to Win 2000 & your be better off.

P.S.KeBugcheckex 48 means your heading for what ME is known for "the blue screen of death."
