Not PBR though, bc PBR is more expensive than all of those... at least in our area!

keystone is the smoothest, the beast is a little rough, and the ice has a higher alcohol content but with that ale taste. Myself, i would go with busch or miller high life. Both are cheap, good tasting beers

1. Busch 2. Keystone 3. Milwaukee's BEAST if you have to 4. Never heard of Natty Ice 5. Buckhorn (back in the good ole days)

Hope this helps your very important collegiate research. I actually made money in college working for a national research company by managing beer taste test surveys. It was great. I made about $1000 (~half my annual income then) for two days work and then got to keep all the left over test beers. WOOHOO! Party on dude!

PBR would be one of my choices but since that's out of your price range in your area....what about Busch Light?

Personally, any Natty product gives me headaches before I finish the first one.

To avoid headaches (besides drinking water) look for beer that is freshest; meaning find something that has not been on the shelf or fridge for too long. Age and light affect beer more so than lack of refridgeration (except for extreme heat).

#1 Beast...it is actually the Miller Lite recipe with just a bit more corn.
I had a kegger with Natty once and that was one of the worst decisions I made...
otherwise if you are in the midwest you might want to try Hauenstein....sometimes hard to find though.

The cheapest beer has to be Old Style. That stuff is about as cheap as it gets.
