Officially there are now ten series sanctioned by NASCAR.

Of course, the big three series are the Nextel Cup Series, the Busch Series, and the Craftsman Truck Series. The Grand National touring series are the Busch Grand National East Series and the Auto Zone Grand National West Series. The two regional modified series run by NASCAR are the Whelen Modified Tour (the original series in the Northern U.S.) and the Whelen Southern Modified Tour. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, is the national weekly short track program for the local racers from all across the country. It was previously known as the Winston Racing Series, the Exide Weekly Racing Series, and the Dodge Weekly Racing Series. Starting this year NASCAR will start to sanction two racing series outside of the United States. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series is the former CASCAR Super Series, and races on tracks all across Canada. NASCAR is also racing south of the border with the NASCAR Mexico Corona Series. This is Mexican stock car racing series formerly known as the Desefio Corona Series. Within the NASCAR Mexico Corona Series is the T-4 class, which are four cylinder models that race as a support class to the Corona Series.

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) is the largest sanctioning body of motorsports in the United States. The three largest racing series sanctioned by NASCAR are the NEXTEL Cup, the Busch Series and the Craftsman Truck Series. It also oversees NASCAR Regional Racing, the Whelen Modified Tour, and the Whelen All-American Series. NASCAR sanctions over 1,500 races at over 100 tracks in 38 states, Canada, and Mexico. From 1996 to 1998, NASCAR held exhibition races in Japan, and an exhibition race in Australia in 1988.

There are nine plus.It would be difficult to list them all here. You can however go to a bookstore and get a mag. called The official nascar 2007 preview and press guide. It will have not only the answer to your question, but also on drivers and tracks you may find helpful. It is a nascar fans must have.
