Wait untill your older and living on your own to have a puppy. Would be one way.

Another way would be to show her how responsible you are, doing extra chores around the house, do well in school, do things without be asking, behave and do as your told.

And other thing is, I read this article once about a kid that wanted a dog, but his parents said no, so one they he stared to pretend he really had a dog, he would walk it, feed it, bath and comb it, and play with it. And then one day he came home from school and there was a real dog waiting for him.

My kids want a puppy too...but they are a lot of care and expense, as well.--aside from chewing everything from shoes, chair legs, bed posts, underwear, socks, you-name-it...even when you have chew toys. Oh, and then you have to potty train them...you need an area, if you allow them in the house, that they will ultimately be quarantined (such as at night) where when they urinate on the floor...it wont ruin the floor---you will become a pro with the mop, bucket and Mr.Clean. There are disposable mats that you can purchase that sort of act like a sponge, but they only work so far. Then there is the walking, feeding, going to the vet--shots, etc...neutering/spaying--but they are worth it. Just as it was suggested above, you may have to wait until you are out and on your own. Your mother doesn't want the smell and work that is involved with the care of an animal. Who would care for it when you were at school and she was at work? You would have to get a cage, and sometimes they go nuts when left alone for long periods of time...wouldn't you? Dogs have been known to tear up rugs and annihilate apartments in a couple of hours.

If you have a dog that is "outside" you have to provide it with a warm and dry place to sleep....farm dogs sleep in barns, if they are not a dog that is allowed in the house.

Listen to your mother, wait until you're old enough to get a place of your own and get a puppy. Remember, they are a TON of work, just like having a new baby. Potty training is hard, they need lots of attention, shots, heart worm meds, etc. Just make sure when you get your own place they allow pets, because I'll guarantee you that most apartments do not allow pets of any kind. Not even a goldfish. Good luck.

Constantly asking will only make the idea seem less attractive to you mom. Just show her that you can be responsible by helping around the house etc. Then perhaps try asking once more.
If that doesn't work you will just have to learn to accept that your mom doesn't want a pet in the house. You'll have plenty of time to get a pet when you leave home.

Reach the age of eighteen, save up, get your own place, save some more. Then and only then can you get a pup.

Right now, you're in her house, she's the one who has the right to call the shots. It sucks, yes, but that's just how the world works. I couldn't get a pup myself for the longest time because we already had three dogs and my parents didn't want another one in the house. And I wouldn't suggest it to anyone under the age of 18 -- I've had mine for 8 months, with a part-time job at a kennel. I'm dead broke, and haven't even gotten her spayed yet. Pups know how to drain your savings and pay check.

Well, it may not be your mom that doesn't allow pets. Often, if she's renting or buying, the landlord/realtor won't allow pets on the premisis. If it IS your mom's rule, you can probably convince her otherwise if you show her that you're responsible enough to take care of said animal. If you have hardwood floors, make sure she knows that you're willing to mop up after the puppy, or if you have carpets, make sure she knows you're willing to clean up after it.

Well if she won't allow one in the house get one for the outside. That way u still get a puppy and it won't be in the house.

Try a virtual pet.

Also, talk to your mom and see what she doesn't like about having a pet in the house. Maybe there's a compromise.
