Technically, they do not KNOW that god exists. They claim he exists & they claim to know.... but all they have is blind faith & a 2000+ year old fantasy book. If they didn't have that book, they would probably latch on to some other cult/religion that made their lives worth living.

Lacking a written New Testament, the First Century Church was built upon the preaching of the Old Testament.
After being raised from the dead, Jesus walked with two of His disciples on the road to Emmaus, and taught them all the places in the Old Testament which spoke of Him.
People can be saved using the Old Testament alone!

The same way Muslims know he exists, or Jews, or Buddists. God makes himself known somehow, to anyone who chooses to believe in him.
The New Testament exists because Christ DID live and he IS the son of God. That is something worth writing about.

Well lets see.... God created the Earth, the Holy spirit bore a son in mary and Jesus was Born. He died on the Cross and saved our sins.
Well it happened, so there is a new testament. Face the facts! It will not be erased, it will always be there. God exists because YOUR HERE! God exists because the world is here.

Because I would know about Elijah's showdown on Mt Carmel. That would be enough for me to know God exists.
But if you didn't read about that one, I would know about the plagues of Egypt and how the Hebrews walked across the Red Sea on dry land. How they lived in the desert with only what God provided them with for 40 years.
Those are just 2 reasons I have others but I feel that's enough. If you don't believe after Elijah's showdown or after Jesus sacrificing Himself for our sins, then you need lots of prayer.

Genesis 1:1
In the Beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.
That's a start, I recommend continuing through to Maccabbees 4.
It gets a little arguable once you get past Esther, but I like Maccabbees. Gives you a sense of excitement and drama.

Old Testament. Of course all of the "us and we" phrases in which God speaks of himself would really throw me off and I would convert to Judaism and await the Messiah.
If monkeys didn't exist, how would Darwinists believe we came from them?

How would I know God existed? By looking at the sky, knowing the sun would rise and set every single day. Looking at a bird, flowers, the grand canyon, niagara falls, the stars and planets, etc. etc.

Genesis, in the Beginning............... GODcreated the heaven and earth. Please read the book of Issiah. He spoke to God all the time, he knew of Jesus' coming hundreds of years before Jesus was born. There is alot of evidence of GOD in the Old Testament.
