My son is now 10 months old and i want to redecorate his bedroom. At the moment its a Winnie the Pooh theme but i really want to change it and get away from that young baby theme. Any ideas on colours or themes???

what about wallpaper with cars or wildlife on or even plain wall paper and just get animal bed sheets and curtains its much cheaper to just decorate it as an adults room and keep changing the sheets and curtains to whatever your childs taste is thats what i do then add new pictures to the walls and a new lampshade e.t.c

He's way too young for you to take away the 'young baby theme'; if he likes it, it can stay as long as he's happy. When he starts pre-k, I'd change it.

I'm sorry, that seems a little cold...

My sons bedroom (triplets) is a nice blue, with Pooh, and Mickey, and Cookie, and Elmo & Big Bird, & Ernie, etc. Their names are stenciled on the walls, and filled in with monochrome blues.

Pick an ageless theme so you don't have to keep decorating.

Maybe a travel theme with globes and maps. Can use model airplanes and ships to decorate too. Can use blues and greens.

Or get antique colored maps and use browns and beiges and orange.

Why dont you do a farm animal theme? He could use that for years and its not babyish. You could use really bright colors and get all different kinds of wall hangings and stuffed animals. I am sure your son will love it too. Have fun and Good Luck! :)

let the colors in his room be blue and off white and instead of a theme just put like boy like things in there. for example, wooden toy planes, trains, trucks, etc
