It takes funding from the government, and while it puts that in one pocket and takes the money it lobbies with and funds MEChA (a Hispanic hate group) without of a different pocket, still I think no lobbying group should get government funding.
They are for Hispanic rights even at the expense of anyone else, from what I can tell. Other than that, they have a number of legitimate functions, as well. You can go to their web site and see for yourself easily enough.

I am Hispanic and I have to say La Raza does not represent me. I think all racism will be erradicated when we all start looking at ourselves simply as human beings. I have friends from different ethnicities and unfortunately there are some of them that will not attend certain functions in which they feel they are a minority, somehow they think that people will discriminate. I have been to gatherings where I have been the only Hispanic and I have had a good time. I have never felt discriminated, I have encountered people who have not been very nice to me, but I don't think is because I am hispanic. People who are nasty are nasty to everyone. I came 17 years ago to America and I would not want to live anywhereelse in the world. Lets all cherish and love our country the greatest nation, The United States of America.

For the Hispanics that want to distance themselves from La Raza, where is the outrage? Where are the protests? Hispanics are willing to take to the streets because they believe they have a right to come here illegally, but they won't come out strongly against La Raza? Why? Muslims are the same way. They aren't represented by Al Qaeda or other extremist groups, but they don't come out and say it. When groups like La Raza purport to represent ethnic groups, those ethnic groups need to come forward and speak out against them.

La Raza's Step-by-Step Plan to takeover the United States:
"All About La Raza" Warnings by a La Raza Member/Insider
http://www.firesociety.com/forum/thread/10941/All-About-LaRaza/
1. Replicate the civil rights movement, and ally with African American groups.
2. Develop statistics that are not true to use as propaganda to sway Americans.
3. Push “special programs” for Hispanics only.
4. Advise illegals on staying in the USA, and gain sympathy by "sad story", and "we do the work Americans won't do" propoganda.
5. Gain amnesty.
6. Encourage the lie that the southwest "belongs" to Mexico.
7. Change political structure and laws by bringing in millions of
hispanics over time.
8. Pressure American corporations to support them, by “secret deals" for rewards by their people's spending power.
9. Attack opposition with racist labeling, so that opponents waste time defending it.
10. Continue receiving aid from US and Mexican governments.

La Raza (the race) is a Hispanic Supremacist organization much like the Aryan brotherhood. They want to create a Hispanic America and turn over control of the southwestern US states to Mexico. The plan is called La Reconquista and those traitors are very far advanced in accomplishing their goal with the help of Bush, McCain, and the traitor Kennedy.
Below is info from the MayorNo site.
WHAT IS RAZA?
"La Raza" (The Race) is a broad term which refers to those whose ancestry is indigenous to the area of Mexico (or "Aztlan"). MEChA members refer to themselves as "La Raza" or "Raza," but the term itself is used to indicate camaraderie among those in different organizations with the same objectives. There are a number of organizations who consider themselves to be La Raza.

It isn't helpful for the Latino Community. They ARE helpful to the illegal aliens who they are protecting...if they were for the Latino community then they would have stepped in when the two border agents ended up getting sentenced to prison...did they? NO!
I agree that they do increase the tension between the USA citizens and Illegal aliens.

LaRaza is a racist organization. It's helpful to the latino community because it helps only them. The problem is it does cause a huge divide since other people suffer from the same issues but they only help their own. Their objective is to take over the country. They are doing it by "majority rules".
They have done things here like address the issue of getting latinos to value education and keep kids in school. So...they offer a pizza party every week for the latino students who had perfect attendance. ONLY latino students. In highschool they have a special program for problem students. ONLY latino students. It's self paced done in Spanish.
Recently they have wanted to start a program for abused women and children. Only latino women and children. They say it's because since so many are illegal they don't want the additional stress of fear of being deported and they want to be sure proof of citizenship is never an issue.
Problem is......this is funded with our tax dollars and no one else benefits from these things. Like as if no other child faces poverty and lack of support in school or are "problem" students etc. No one else can have a program just for "their" people that excludes any law enforcement or means around the system.
Another thing they have done is get people on school boards or other positions of power and systematically get out people of other races so they can by "majority rules" change things to suit "their" people without regard or consideration of other people. An example is where they ousted a black principle of a school for a latino principle because the latino population of students was in the majority and the students supposidly wanted a latino as principle. They even went so far as to have the board meetings in Spanish......it is blatent as to what their agenda is.
They have bussed people in from other communities to disrupt town meetings so people of those communities can never discuss problems they face. They are proud of the fact they run people out. Each and every town they take over is another feather in their cap.
They have studied our laws and our loopholes and know how to ride each one to their benefit. They are the first to cry racism yet they are the most racist group of all. They aren't going for equality....they want more.
They are very strong financially.........so they have the ability to drag on law suits to break the opposition, they can grease the palms of those in power, they foot the bill for the protests.......on down the line. They encourage not speaking English and anything they can to set themselves apart from others. It's literally another society.....they have their own lawyers etc. and arrange for things no other citizens are privy to....
especially citizens who aren't well off.

La Raza is a racist group that only cares about the race. It is dangerous and hateful. Because they are so militant, confrontations between the pro-illegal aliens and Americans is bound to happen.
Even their name is racist!
