Oh don't get me started. Speaking as an American,we DO mind our own business, but for the last twenty some odd years the Middle East has been trying treat us like a caged animal eating a sh** sandwich while poking at it with a stick. Those anti -war pansies in this country have a short memory. So don't be surprised when it attacks after people like Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein not only opened the cage but swung it wide open.

No offense but are you from America? There are Americans who mind their own business. You can't talk about all of American citizens like we all do the same thing we don't. Yes, we do get involved in things that we didn't have to but we didn't get to where we are today without listening to other countries business.
What about other countries minding their own business???? What ever happened to that? Why is it always us Americans?

If you talking about in terms of how we deal with the rest of the world, I think the answer is no.
OK, let me preface this by saying that I don't agree at all with the way things are being handled in Iraq, but I support my country.
We live in a day and age when technology has brought us closer together. It is so much easier for people all around the world to interact. I know there are many countries who only concern themselves with their own issues, but I just feel like we can't afford to do that anymore. If there's a problem in Iraq, Africa, Czech Republic, or WHEREVER, we should do what we can to help because we have the capability. If we all work together (as in, all the countries of the world) I'm sure we can make lots of positive changes.
I know other countries consider Americans to be arrogant, but to me it's not about arrogance. At this particular point in time we are one of the most influential and powerful countries in the world. I think we just feel like it's our duty to help out where we can. Granted, things don't always go smoothly, but we try our best.

We do mind our own business.
Should more countries learn to be more self reliant, and stop coming to the United States asking for a free handout? Yes.
Should people in Europe learn to take responsibility for their own actions, and stop blaming americans? Yes.
Should this question have been posted in politics and government? Yes.

I assume you are referring to the current governmental administration.
If you are referring, however, to the American people, then my answer is that the American people should learn the same lesson people from every nation need to learn. And yes... that's to mind their own business.

If the Ruling Class Of America, meaning government, had heeded George Washington's Farewell speech, we possibly would not be so involved in the affairs of other nations and not hatted so much.
George Washington stated in his farewell speech that the down fall for this nation would come through the involvement of other nations. Sticking our nose in the affairs of others is what he refered to.
Yes. America should stop sticking it's nose in everyone Else's affairs and worry about the it;s own people. The Poor, Sick and the Crime. Above all the security of it's people.

And, to what business are you referring?
I agree with some of the other answers- everyone should mind his/her own business. Not just us Yanks. Unless, of course, someone or some country ASKS for help.

Yes. We should bring our troops home to guard our own borders, and let other countries settle their own affairs; stop letting other people in; and stop sending aid to other countries and take care of our own people; and finally stop suppying 75% of the UN budget which only provides a forum for the rest of the world to trash us.
