a real Christian doesn't throw stones. Most Christians, if taught correctly will not even disagree with your decision.
A lot of Christians still need to learn how to be humble, and not judging, that is called a religious spirit.
it is a spirit, like a sickness that makes some believers think that they have the right to think they are better.
you said you don't believe in the bible but here a quote to actually support your thought. please read it. some christians don't fully understand this yet
The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.
12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
13 "But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
14 "I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted."
see, throwing stones, even at other christians.
instead of being salty, some become bitter.
I, myself, have to pray constantly, not to become bitter. I pray only to be a light.
the Lord does the rest. Even to people such as yourself, I cannot say ONE BAD THING because you may one day be one of God's. That is the proper way to look at it. (treat everyone as if they are your true brothers and sisters) nobody, in their right mind would stone you if they really believed that.
but just a note, even if you believed in the bible, you are free to do what you want. most people don't know that. I am free do do as i want/desire. but when i accepted God, He changed the desires in my heart. I am not perfect, I am a sinner, i was born that way. but God still has a plan.
i hope this helps, I would never want to throw a stone at you or any other unbeliever.
believe it or not, you are in scripture too.
there is a
true believer
a make believer
and an unbeliever
so maybe you are just where you are suppose to be.

Sounds like another generalizing question to me. Of course everyone sins. Christians are not free of sin. We are however, forgiven if we ask God for it. That's not to say we keep on casting the stones and keep asking forgiveness. (Although I am sure there are some who do--I don't think that's what God had in mind with forgiveness). We are not here to judge. I try to not do it. I believe it's God's place to judge not ours.
Although, it does sound as if you are judging here. If you don't believe in God why are you concerned if we do what the Bible says? If it's not real, there shouldn't be a concern should there?

your correct jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone, However, this does not allopw us to sit back and see some injustice done without pointing it out. these are two seperate issue that you non belivers always fail to see. if Im judging you based upon appearence personality skin color or race, im wrong. However if I see you rape and murder someone, I have every right to come to you dan say: "what you have done is horrible and wrong, and I pray that you come to God and repent." wow, look at your hypocrasy, you say: "You fundamentalist must be amazing people to be so sin free that you can keep throwing stones at everyone you disagree with." istnt that what your doing right now? not only are you not practicing what your preaching but your also makeing the fallacious error of generalizing. some christianms are extremely and wrongly judgemental, however, I know a Number of christians who arent, Christians who are peaceful people. lastly, tolerance means I shouldnt beat kill or destroy prpeirty of those who dont belive the way i do, however, we have the right within the bounds of tolerance to disagree. You dont belive in the Bible so your free to do what you want? actually your in great error. its not what you belive or dont belive, its whether its true or false. if the Bible is true and you dont follow its command to repetn and trust in christ then you will face the consequences whether you belive in it or not. sounds like you try to liv morally, so lets see how you will do when you face God on judgement day.
have you ever lied?
Have you ever stolen smoething?
have you ever looked with lust? ever used Gods name in vain?
if you have said yes to these questions then by your own admission, your a lying theiving blapshmeous adulturer at heart. whether you belive it or not, your belifes wont change reality, and we will face God , a God who has seen every thought word and deed. Nothing you or I have ever done is hidden from his holy eyes. and the penalty for sin is hell. the good news is that Christ died for us, you broke the Law and Jesus paid your fine, and now we must repent 9turn from sin) and trust n christ, because outside of Him there is no hope for escaping Gods wrath.
God Bless

That was a question that was posed for people to examine themselves for sinfulness. There was a time in my life when I honestly thought I could get through a week without sinning. Seriously! I was a pretty good person but it wasn't until I started delving into the Bible more that I realized I was sinning on a daily (even hourly basis - the horror!) even by thinking bad thoughts.
But it is wrong for Christians to throw stones at you for your beliefs. We are to camly and peacefully show the error of your ways but not forcefully ram them down your throats.

I am a Christian, and I still sin.
There are very few perfect people in this world, Christian or not.
The difference is that we have forgiveness.
Major misconception of non-Christians is that expect us Christians to be perfect. We are not.
Explaining the faith is not "Casting Stones" in the literal sense at all. If you were sitting on a Jury where the evidence proved beyond a reasonable (or any) doubt that the person charged was guilty of a crime, would you vote to convict them?
Would you have to be without sin to do so?
Peace!

By any chance did someone tell you that you need to turn away from your sins and accept Christ as your Savior? If so, they're not claiming to be free from sin themselves, nor are they pointing a finger at you in specific. Salvation is a universal need, and you're not being singled out.
It would help to know what the specific circumstances were in which you felt that Christians were condemning you. Otherwise, your post just comes across as an anti-Christian whine and cheese party.

No, the "Christian" doctrine is that we're all lousy with "Original Sin" from birth, and therefore we all need to be "washed in the blood of Jesus." I can't decide if this doctrine is more repulsive for its cringing, guilt-riddled amorality or its barbaric imagery.
The whole thing about "casting the first stone" is pretty much a moot point. Yes, we are all sinners, according to Christian belief; but some of us have accepted Jesus and humbly trust in the efficacy of his sacrifice for us, whereas others stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the Lord, and therefore (for their sakes) we strive to bring them into the fold. I think that's the mentality. We can also invoke "Hate the sin, love the sinner" whenever we want to pretend that our hatred isn't personal, but a development of our "love" for our fellow-sinners, and an excuse to meddle in their personal lives.

As long as you try to accept everyone without prior judgments, you are fine. As long as you are a good person you are fine. Just because you don't believe in the bible does not make you a horrible person (even though I know a lot of Christians believe otherwise). The basic goal of the bible is to tell fables (a story with a life lesson) and give you personal guidence in your life. There are so many variations and differences between different publishings of the bible. What we do now does affect what happens later - just keep that in mind. And even if you don't believe in God, he still believes in you.

i do not know where you heard that Christians are without sin we are not without sin we sin everyday and that is why we have to confess to Jesus for it. When Jesus said that "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" he was talking to the people about to stone a woman for adultery, he said that because he knows we are with sin. the people ended up putting the rocks down and not stoning her because they knew that they had also sinned.

I am so sick of this question, of course we aren't without sin! That is the very fiber of what we believe!
Sorry if you think we cast stones. We just tell it how the bible says it. The good and the bad.
