Praise be to Allah.
None of the answer, prooved that JESUS said about himself a GOD but most of answers quoted that what others said about him. Except one answer which is the answer of Mariam M and her answer is derived form this passage in the bible:
John 8:
58 Jesus said to them, “I tell you the solemn truth, before Abraham came into existence, I am!”
Fine if you consider the part "I am" means THE GOD. Read these passages from the bible:
Acts 10:
21 So Peter went down to the men and said, “Here I am, the person you’re looking for.
Luke 1:
19 The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.
Then why don't you consider both Peter and Gabriel as Gods as you considered Jesus??

Yes, and yes. Jesus said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." I'm paraphrasing of course. AND Jesus is in the Old Testament, though He's not named.
Daniel 3:24-25
Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, "Weren't there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?"
They replied, "Certainly, O king."
He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."
Also, if you go to www.biblegateway.com, and look up mention of the word "angel," you'll notice that there's a distinction made between "THE angel" and "an angel" of the Lord. THE angel of the Lord is Jesus Christ. Notice, whenever AN angel appears to someone, the angel stops that person from worshipping them. Whenever THE angel appeared to someone, and they bowed down to worship, they weren't stopped.
In addition to that, read the beginning of John chapter 1:1-5:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
Who was the "Word?" It's evident that it was Jesus Christ.
If you backtrack, the Hebrew word used for God in Genesis was "elohim" which is plural. That is the first mention of the Trinity.
I have many more, but I think this is a good start.

The King James version of the Bible states it like this: in the beginning up grew to become into the interest and the interest grew to become into with God, and the interest grew to become into God. a similar grew to become into in the beginning up with God. The observe is yet another call for Jesus.

o dear I have been over this many times with a muslim friend Jesus did make it very claer he was God and used the words translated ' I am' which in the hebrew was the name for God as God told Moses say '' I am'' has sent you' but you chose to not believe many ways and times he made it clear he is God and God called him his son which is as close to oneness as they could get while he was on earth.

No, he made obscure references to God being "Father" (but also said God was everyone's father).
His disciples called him "Rabbi".....which is what the historical Jesus probably was --- a radical rabbi who pissed the Romans off.

Both are mythical figures and the bible is a work of fiction written by men. Why sweat such trivialities?

Well, yes Jesus Christ said He was God - that's actually what the Jews accused Him of also - Blasphemy which is equating or claiming to be higher than God. This is pretty easy to see in the Bible except if you're a Jehovah's witness and have a Jehovah's witness Bible which take out those parts. Even the newer Bibles take out the key verses that say this which is why our church doesn't recommend them.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
Joh 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
God has an equity system that is shown in the Old Testament such as . . .
Exo 21:24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
Exo 21:25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
Just think how many fights and troubles would be avoided if we adhered to this system.
But God shows you that you have to give life for life. Since we've sinned against an eternal God and we have only a mortal life to give it isn't an equal exchange to balance the scales for God. So God had to give Himself for a sacrifice that way we can have eternal life through Him.
Jesus Christ had to be God in order to satisfy God's requirements to stand before Him and be His people.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Rom 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Even the high priest who wanted Jesus dead said . . .
Joh 18:14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
To answer your other question about worship. Yes Jesus always accepted worship while His disciples did not. That's how you can tell a phoney disciple - they'll accept worship such as bending down before a man and kissing his ring.
You're only suppose to worship God.
You ought to read the Bible for yourself though - I've found over the years of reading and studying that a lot of what people say that the Bible says just isn't true so read it yourself once and see what it says. Then study it the rest of your life and try to figure it all out.
Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
