I was just wondering if anyone has a support group or website for girlfriends of Sailors. I really need people who understand what I am going through. Real answers or related experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

I see military.com forums are already listed. Another good one that has all military support with boards for each service too is http://www.cinchouse.com/. And I just found out about this one but haven't tried it yet: http://www.lovinmysailor.com/.
If you use Yahoo Groups or MySpace you can search on there for more local/area groups. Also try anyplace you network that has boards, groups or forums. You may be surprised at finding military groups there.
Finally, if your BF's command lets girlfriends into their FRG (Family Readiness Group) you might check to see if they have an online group. I know several here do and I run the one for DH's command.

myspace has some but they are for the indvidual ships and commands. most are run by wives

the bottom one is military girlfriends and the top one says wife's but its basically the same look at both and see what one looks best to you good luck thanks
