My aunt passed away at age 58 in June 2006 with ovarian cancer. Just today, one of my coworker's mother is so bad with the same type of cancer my aunt had, they are calling in hospice for her final days. I have seen how bad these wonderful ladies have suffered and how cancer is such an evil, horrible disease. Please help me raise money for the Relay for Life. The other answerer asked you to check into where you are donating money before you donate, however I can assure you that the American Cancer Society is one of the best charities in the nation to donate to. You can check out the better business website to confirm this.
I suggest you write letters to your family and friends to raise money. Write about your aunt and why you choose to participate in Relay For Life. The donations will come rolling in. Good luck, you're doing an amazing thing!

I'm sorry to hear you and your family are going through this. My mother had breast cancer, so I've been researching a place to donate. Please check into how the money is spent before you give to a cause.
