1) Jeff Gordon (7 wins there)
2) Jimmie Johnson (10 races there, 9 top 10s, 2wins)
3) Tony Stewart (2 wins there, had best COT last week)
4) Matt Kenseth (13.7 avg. last 6 races there, on a roll now)
5) Jamie McMurray (11.5 avg last 6 races there, 5 of 8 top 10s)
Ryan Newman and Kurt Busch are the other 2 worth consideration at Martinsville.
You can thumbs down me all you want for NOT picking Jr., but in 14 races at Martinsville he only has 6 top 10s and hasn't won there. He's O.K. there but not top 5.

Jeff Burton, Jeff Gordon, David Stremme, and the gibbs cars Stewart and Hamlin. Stewart might have 3 wins this year but 2 wrecks and engine problems took probably the car to beat out of three races. I can't believe Burton isn't getting more respect after being 2nd in points, almost winning the race, and having one of the best cars every week so far. Stremme is a rising star who fell back at the end at Bristol, and I think he might make some noise. Hamlin looked good as well, and sealed his own fate, and knew it(he said he was dead as soon as he saw the guys behind him pit at the end of the race). Gordon will have another off and on day and will surprise few with another good finish, and he wants victory lane right now. Other than that, Johnson will be mr. Consistent and have a good race and I think Kenseth will probably get a top 5 to try to get his year really going. Harvick, solid top ten, but I don't think he'll have a real shot at winning. Top 5, I'd say
1. Tony Stewart(best car in about every race so far, as long as he sticks around for the whole race I think he's got it)
2. Jeff Burton
3. Hamlin
4. Stremme
5. Gordon

sure, i do no longer think of that any nascar drives must be interior the busch sequence. it particularly is meant to be a coaching league for up and coming stars. Nascar drivers are purely utilising it to get better prepare on the race music for the Nascar race. that must be like letting albert pujos play for the two the cardinals and there AAA group, so the two communities could make the playoffs.
