Yes.
Her husbands death makes no difference to how she is addressed.
The only difference would be if she didn't use Mrs while her husband was alive, in which case you would use whatever she did use.

It can be a personal preference to use Ms. or Mrs.
Even though a women is a widow she is still married to her husband in till she remarries.
Mrs. John Doe (If Husband is living)
Mrs. Sarah Doe (If Husband has passed)
But in case of divorce a women would be addressed as Ms.

I think as she is a married woman she acquired that tittle Mrs.
Even if she becomes a widow, she definitely is Mrs.
( If after some time she marries again, then she may be called Mrs....so and so.The name may change.
A Mrs can Never become a Ms ,because she has lost her husband unfortunately.
So it is better call her Mrs.

I would think it is OK. She was Mrs. when she got married. Just because she is a widow doesn't mean she should change her title. Infact maybe adressing her as Ms. after she being addressed as Mrs. would highlight the fact that she is now a widow.

I believe you won't be wrong if you address her as "Mrs." Especially if she was married a long, long time (except and unless she made it clear she hated her husband and/or she murdered him). A widow feels bereft as it is; to see herself no longer addressed as "Mrs." only adds to that sense of loss. If this is a one-time correspondence, "Mrs." is appropriate. If she is a friend that you correspond with often, she will let you know in subtle ways, i.e., her return address, when she is ready to drop the "Mrs."

The widow is always gonna be Mrs. (husband's last name) she'll never be Ms. (husband's last name). The only other option would be Ms. (her maiden name)

Proper etiquette dictates that you address a widow by her husband's name until she remarries, i.e. Mrs. John Smith.

Yes, you should continue to call her Mrs. It's a sign of respect . Unless she tells you different. I'm 51 years old and there are still people who were my fathers friends whom to this day I call Mr. or Mrs because it's respect.
