normally within 90 days of your filing receipt date... if you do not receive your EAD within that time period.... you can go to the local immigration office and request the EAD card the same day....by law immigration will have to issue your spouse an EAD if your spouse did not receive it in the mail within 90 days...

It can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months.

90 days is the time period after which you should start calling USCIS. You cannot work while you are waiting on it.

2-4 months is the average, though I've seen them come in much faster and much slower.
