I wouldn't waste my money going to the doctor over split ends.

All hair splits at the bottom ,
There is nothing any doctor or shampoo can do.
It splits more if you are in a dry climate.
Hair splits are why people get their hair trimmed and use a conditioner.

Possibly discuss cutting back on heat styling tools. Oh, and discuss this with a beautician, not your doctor.

You need to see your beautician and get her input on this. This is what she went to school for so go see her and she will tell you the best products to use etc. A good trim is one of the first things they recommend.
