There are many different kinds of strength. If you can lift more than someone you may be stronger in that sense, but maybe they can lift a lower weight at twice as many reps as you can.

Also, when it comes to punching or fighting, strength only plays a small part in it. Punching is more technique than brute force. Also, fighting relies on reflexes and quickness more than strength.

So, you need to look at why you're lifting weights and then see what kind of strength you need for that sport or whatever. For example. In martial arts, people want lean muscle with a lot of endurance and quickness. Body builders want pure bulk and don't care about enduranc. And so on.

There is no definitive "good enough." Find a strength level that you can do what you need to easily. But more strength is always better:)
In some exercises, larger guys have a harder time because they must move the weight farther (squats, bench press) For example, I'm about 5'11", 170 pounds, and when I played football I could bench about 215 pounds and squat about 300. But there's a kid on my team who's 5'5" who can bench like 300 and squat like 600. But I could hold my own against him. In fact, I usually did better than him.
The punch you pack is a combination of the force you can apply and the distance over which you can apply it.

It simply means you can lift more.

Some people have strong hands, but not strong arms. Some are vice-verse. And some have strong legs but don't have much upper body strength.

And some people who don't have much strength can beat out bruisers far bigger than them because they fight smart, rather than take the 'Hulk Smash' approach.

Beats me, but after reading that I'm fairly sure you're an idiot. BTW 130lbs on bench press?!? What do you weigh, 65lbs?
