Ha! I never touch the handle of a door when I leave a bathroom either. I usually get my paper towels before I wash my hands. I tuck them between my knees while I wash my hands. After I dry them, I use the towel to turn off the faucet, so I don't touch it with my clean hands. Then I use it to touch the door handle.
I've noticed the same thing. No doubt, there are people who empty towel dispensers to make diapers, sanitary pads, or supply a party with napkins. Free paper! They figured a way to lock up rolls of toilet paper. They've even figured out a way to make it hard to take off more than a few sheets at a time. There just isn't an effective way to lock up paper towels. Rolls go a lot faster, garbage cans get full, and there's always the litter. You have to pay someone to keep it up. Blow dryers are less mess, maintenance, and expense.
What I've done is started scoping the drying situation out when I first walk in. If there aren't any towels I take toilet paper. I wash and dry my hands (I use my elbow to push the button on the dryer), then use the toilet paper to turn off the water and open the door.
Push doors make sense from a sanitary point of view. Unfortunately, bathroom doors (especially public restrooms), seldom open outward. Doors take up room in a floor plan. You also can't have doors swinging open into areas where people may be walking by.

OMG I agree it is gross. Especially when your hands don't dry all the way and there are people waiting to use the blow drier. UGGH. I also have resorted to flushing the nasty toilets with my foot because you know thats where most of the germs are!

Give 'em time. We now have the sensor flush toilet, the blow hand drier, just needs the automatic door and someone to go to the toilet for us and we won't need to touch anything!

are you one of those grab the handle with a paper towel in public bathrooms kind of people?
do you use half the roll covering the seat before you go?
do you shut the sink off with a paper towel?
sure its dirty, but its probably not going to kill you.
also, the handle wouldnt be so disgusting if it weren't for the SLOBS who do their business and then run out without washing up.
the same guy who wants to shake everyones hand after whiping up his taco-bell incident and not using the sink.

No. Chelsea are a well group and have you ever noticeable our blank sheet list? The referee is doing his degree exceptional to even up the numbers. Chelsea will have to be right down to 9 guys - while I performed soccer grabbing any person across the neck/face was once no less than a yellow card. edit: I instructed you so

Maybe the janitors got tired of cleaning up all of the paper towels laying around on the floor, from nasty people who don't like to put their trash in the trash.
