There really is no way to break up with someone and not hurt them, just isn't possible, but the truth hurts less than an elaborate lie. Explain to your present g/f that someone you have a long history with has come back and you want to re-establish that relationship. You can tell her that you've had a great time with her and really care for her but you don't believe what you two have would be long lasting. Good luck to you and God Bless.

if u truly loved the 6 month gal b4 the 10 year gal came along then don't b a fool. its just a lil test. now if u never really loved the 6 month, then perhaps ur eyes r just openin up to that fact now that u'v seen the 10 year and in which case u would wanna probably break up. if thats the case, u can tell the 6 month that u wanna break up cos u don't wanna hurt her in the long run when she's deeperly in love wit ur monkey ***...lol. watever u do, do it for the right reasons and not just for meer lust. trust me, i lost a good one that way.

Impossible, but being honest is the best thing. Well don't tell her about the other woman because she might cut you :) But tell her this relationship isn't working, and I want to let you go now, intsead of later on..when it could really hurt you. She is going to be hurt..but there isn't anything you can do. But just to let you know leaving her for another woman...what goes around comes around...

the same thing happened to me and i had to just come out and tell her that it was over. she'll be hurt but it's better to be honest right away.
