Our human senses are not equipped to perceive everything.
It is not a matter of believing; invisible things have been proven to exist.
Insects can see in ultra-violet light, but only by inventing technology can we perceive it. How much more is out there that we cannot see that some day shall be proven to exist?
The existence of things does not hinge upon our belief of it.
What we perceive is not reality, but reality exposed to our method of questioning.

The difference between a "spirit" world and the world of atoms and molecules is that while the world of molecules and atoms was at one time unknown and no one had seen it, eventually it became known thru the use of and understanding of microscopes and many many experiments done in laboratories all over the world and verified by numerous scientists. The 'spirit' world has never been seen or in any way verified by anyone anywhere. And the key difference in these two worlds is that while the atomic world wasn't seen, it could be seen, while the 'spirit' world by definition CANNOT be seen. It is defined as non-physical and therefore is not in any way accessible by anything physical. No microscope, telescope, radar, or any other device or instrument that has ever been constructed can detect the spirit world. Do you see the difference now? The atomic world can be seen, the spirit world cannot. This is why you would be judged to be mentally ill or suffering from some delusions if you claim to be able to see the spirit world. It's not just that people haven't experienced god, it's that people CAN'T experience god, since god is a spirit and non-physical. We are physical beings that experience the physical world with physical senses and physical instruments. Big difference.

Yes, I believe in an invisible spirit world here on earth and in the skies and in space where all the stars are. Also, I agree with you, anyone who says they have seen things or heard things that do not follow in these days science......they are believed to be mentally ill and are even committed against their will. This is happening world wide as we speak. So much more could be said.

I believe so.
I guess it's hard for people to have faith because they need to touch and feel it! They can't just sense it in their hearts.
All i know, is that it's nice to know that someone might be there, when it feels that the world has turned it's back on you.
We are not "mentally ill" we just believe what we want to believe. We hold faith in someone that doesn't exist. I say doesn't exist because, in order for something to exist it has to be a real object or a being. God is not a real being, he's just someone or something there, that we sense.
Science can prove alot of different things, but who do you think put it all there for us to experiment on? Someone must have. Things don't just clash for some reason and create some reality. Sure, we can say the big bang effect caused us to be here, but who gave us the mind to think?
These and all questions are always going to be the "existential questions" we humans will ponder on, until one day we will know...it will be one suffice answer after death.

I don't believe in religion because I see no proof that a god exists. I believe in atoms because they can be detected. Atomic theory and experimentation agree with each other. The experiments can be repeated, and are consistent from test to test.
Religion, on the other hand, can't be. I haven't seen or heard of any burning bushes that were not consumed by the flame, or anyone parting a body of water, or transforming water into wine. When I was young, and prayed, I didn't get the results I asked for. And I don't want to be associated with religious leaders who publicly condemn behaviors that they themselves are guilty of privately, or that are found guilty of pedophilia but shielded by their church.

Eventually science provides proof that can be repeated through further tests. Outrageous claims by the likes of fartwell and robertson and oral roberts and swaggert and bakker and on and on and on have eroded whatever slim believability religion had to those of us that think independently. Fundi's thumping on your doorstep and as you walk through an airport or mall or wherever. What about those of the religious persuasion that talk in tongues? What do you have to do to be declared nuts if speaking in tongues doesn't do it?
And let's not forget what the religious extremists of all types have done to this big blue marble, from the nuts in iraq blowing themselves up to get to the 72 virgins to our very own Nitwit in Our White House. The religious nutballs have brought the grief upon themselves...

The people that don't believe in a spirit world, I consider mentally unstable.I can't see the wind but, I can feel it's effects. I might not be able to see GOD, but I feel HIS effects. I feel bad for those who don't understand. If only people would take the time to ask Jesus to come into their life, they could know GOD's effects, too.

Absolutely! We are living in the dimensions of reality as we know it. There many plains of existence that we cannot comprehend. Here's something to think about.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT DEATH
Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death! Make a personal reflection about this. Very interesting, read until the end.
It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
Here are some men and women who mocked God:
JOHN LENNON: Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said: "Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him" (1966). Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.
TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil ): During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.
CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet): During a show in Canecïo ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilst smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you." He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.
THE MAN WHO BUILT THE TITANIC: After the construction of the Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it" The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.
MARILYN MONROE: She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your Jesus". A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.
BON SCOTT: The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: "Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell". On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.
CAMPINAS/SP IN 2005: In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter - holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: "MY DAUGHTER, GO WITH GOD AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU."
She responded: "ONLY IF HE
(GOD) TRAVELS IN THE TRUNK, CAUSE INSIDE HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL". Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.
The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none
were broken.
CHRISTINE JEWITT: A Jamaican Journalist and entertainer, said the
Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written, in June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.
Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive. JESUS!!!
What benefit does it have, if a man gains the whole world but loses his soul? What can man give in exchange of his soul?"
(Matthew 16:26).
AMEN

"what about the times when they discovered atoms and molecules". Exactly. They theorised they must be there FROM PREVIOUS (SCIENTIFIC) OBSERVATIONS, and then when technology became available they knew they were there.
There is no sound theory of spirit that makes any sense, and there will be no fact ever. Because it is not there. Just people and wishful thinking.
