Missy, so God intelligently designed a world where his son would have to be tortured and killed to save?

We deserve a worse death then Jesus endured for us- and crucifixion is the worst possible way to die- God LOVED us so much that He gave His Son- Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, the night before he died- asked if "this cup" could be removed for him- but He said, "not my will by thine be done". I am not terrified of God. I know that God has accepted me because of what Christ did. Those who do not accept Him are condemned and should be the ones that afraid. I am saved through the shed blood of Christ- I know His grace, love and mercy. I will be praying that you will find that they love of God is waiting for you to come and accept Him. He sent His Son to die, so that I can live eternally with Him.

Technically, God didn't do that to His Son. Everyone wants to blame God for things He doesn't do. Yes, He allows in his wisdom, what He could easily prevent in His power. God is a god of justice and man has a free will. Man messed up. God paid the penalty for man because man was not qualified to do it on his own.

Go back to church dear. St.Patrick's day just passed. Remember the clover, three leaves to make a whole. What God permitted to happen to his son also happened to him.The Christian religion is the only religion where God comes down and makes a personal sacrifice for you. There is black and white . there is a condition of sin, It is not allowed in heaven Make your choice. He gave of himself freely , obediently unto to death , overcame death so we can have hope of the same. Believe me, I have seen people pass away and a hope for something better beyond this "mortal coil is something everyone wants.

He made it as a Sacrifice for His Love for all of us ungrateful humans.
He wanted to Show us how much he loves all His Children that he was willing to sacrifice His Only Child's Life to Save our own lives. That's the real meaning of Love which seems we have forgotten.

It was His way of demonstrating how much He loves us. I know, its so very hard for us to understand His ways but He is a loving God and is not out to torture us. He wants the best for us.
