I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.

So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.

Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.

A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

Heal your ankle fully & fast?

I had my first tattoo on me ankle and it didn't hurt!! However i had used Emla cream to numb the area so if you are worried then get some of the cream, it only costs a few quid from the chemist. Apparently the having one done on your foot hurts more!! I think it also depends on your pain threshold too.

Yes.....

The pain you feel is generally as a slight burning or hot scratching sensation. Generally, the tattoo is more painful if applied to areas of the body where there is less muscle and fatty tissue covering bone, like wrists, ankles, chests, and other normally sensitive body areas. Upper arms are usually the least painful, while the ankles and sternum can be quite sensitive.

I have a tigger tattoo on my right ankle. I am a baby when it comes to pain and I handled it without screaming. I had a few tears when he was working on the bottom half of the tattoo but otherwise it wasn't too bad. Mine is about 3 inches tall. Good Luck !!!

Any tattoo that goes over a bone is a little painful, but a lot of places do "pain free" tattooing my local tat place does it for £5 a tube it basically is a local anaesthetic cream and it just numbs the skin. It will still be tender afterward and you'll still be able to feel the needle a little. Best bet is to speak to the studio that you are going to get it done at.

it doesnt hurt as much as you would think as usually not a lot of the tattoo covers the ankle bone and thats the part that hurts. and that bit really does hurt but u can cope with it. its not like there tattooing that part for long.

Don't know about the ankle but I have a tat on my foot, possibly one of the most painful places on your body due to lack of body fat in the area. So ankle is probably the same....
I'd give mine a pain rating of 8/10.

Depends on your pain tolerance. I have 8 Tats..one is on the inside of my left ankle. Did it hurt...not really...kinda burned more than anything. Definitely had them hurt more in other places. Just depends on you, really.
