i'm trying to sell it before i move, but i'm leaving on saturday and i'm not sure if i'll be able to get rid of it by then. fedex and ups are so expensive, i'd be better off just tossing this one and getting a new one. any suggestions?

You might try a company like ABF Freight Systems. But I think you may be right...better off just getting rid of it and buying a new one on the other end.

My daughter lived across country while she was in college. When she came home, we tossed the idea around of shipping the items she accumulated for four years. In the end, we filled her car full of all of her favorite possessions and tossed the rest. It was extremely expensive to ship the items and it cost less to buy new ones rather than ship. She found a buyer for her mattress since it was only four years old at the college. A returning student bought it. She did not want to use dorm mattresses. You might try posting it on a college website and leave it with a friend to sell. If it doesn't ....toss it.

There are purely 2 eventualities that warrant sending a mattress that far. undertaking extensive style one, you're utilising a shifting van. undertaking extensive style 2, you're utilising in a private motor vehicle. i'm hoping i do no longer ought to describe how the mattress suits into this equation. in case you're doing neither of the above, then forget approximately approximately sending the mattress. that is going to cost you 1000's upon 1000's to deliver. Who sends a mattress that far besides? purely purchase a clean one once you get to the city. Many places will furnish on your door. look into Sleepy's

You are better off buying another one. Shipping is pretty expensive.
