well i think the only person who should tell you what to wear is your parents when you aren't old enough to make the decisions for yourself. also schools, etc that require you to wear a uniform, but in terms of your own everyday clothes then nobody!

Nobody has the right to tell you what to wear, except in employment situations, but I do wish that Media people and celebrities could set a better example. English people appear so scruffy these days.
As for Fashion and Designer gear, do the purchasers realise that they are victims of a huge, legal scam. You buy the clothes, wear them for one season, and then, although the clothes are still perfectly seasonable, the fashion is changed by the manufacturors and you spend more money buying more gear that you do not need!
As a middle-aged bloke, I stick to Farah slacks, white collared shirts and Gurteen sports jackets, plus a few sporty T shirts for when it gets warm. My gear lasts for about 5 years, so I can spend more money on beer, eating out and other things that make life good, without lining the pockets of fashion industries.

Unless your going to work in a bank or a buisness, wearing god awful things, yes its our buisness. We dont want to be banking at a place where people look like they walked out of a horror movie, or a prostitute. At certain schools, you wear an uniform, that way, nobody can say you look good or bad in your duds, cause everybody else is wearing the same thing you are. But yes theres times you can wear what you like or want & it shouldnt bother people. Just dont wear your pajamas in public with your house slippers on, and your hair matted to your forehead. Nobody wants to be grossed out. Use common sense, everybody has it.

People CAN choose what they want to wear. The problem is that SOME people lack the good judgement to know what is appropriate for them. Spandex is a priviledge...not a right. If you weigh 300 lbs, you should do a public service, and wear something that's more appropriate, and not going to blind me for life. And If you're a 50 year old woman, you shouldn't be shopping the juniors section at nordstrom, or even going into abercrombie.

No one. But its a delicate question. You dress provocative, you end up raped, and its your fault. You dress more conservative and thats fine according to society.
Wrong. But that's the way things are.
