It seems as though he's really not over you. You all need to sit down and have a talk and find out exactly why you two are no longer together. I think once you clear the air with any uncertainty, you both can decide where to take your relationship.

He may not be as over you as he is telling you that he is. He might have thought that he was until you kissed someone else, which you had all rights to do since you have been broken up. Sometimes guys are just hard to figure out. I got this one telling me that he loves me and wants to marry me someday but then a few days later he is all confused about everything. If you want to get back with your ex then you need to have a real sit down chat with him. You need to ask him why he broke up with you in the first place and why it is that he seemed so upset. These seem like simple things but talking usually helps.

The situation is that in one aspect that your boyfriend said he could not do it anymore and did not want to hang out with you because it would look odd and then when he found out you kissed another guy he went biserk on you. Just because he sat by himself does not necessarily mean that he was sad about what happened he could have been thinking about, or he could have took on a hidden jealous side. If he wants to get back with you he is going to have to tell you that, you did not do anything to make him leave you because he decided to leave the relationship, so don't blame yourself for what he did, it is something that he is going to have to deal with. If he does not come back then it is time for you to move on. Just because you dreamed that he gave you a note that said he wanted you back does not necessarily mean that. Give it a limited amount of time and if he does not get back to you then you know what you have to do.

He is still into you, there are barley any guys out there who can remain friends with an ex unless there is some prospect of A. getting back together or B. getting "some". He saw you with another guy and it hurt, it's life and it is HIS fault for putting himself in that situation. If I could give him some advice it would be MAN UP.

I grow weary from answering questions like yours, but my heart goes out to you. If you had a relationship for two years, he probably has some conflicted feelings about you kissing another boy, but you said it yourself, "he dumped you." You're just looking over your shoulder, reexamining things, wishing and hopeing and la te la te da!! He's already spelled it out for you, dear. Go dream up something new and productive. He's yesterday's news.

he still has feelings for you so when you kissed the other guy he felt really bad. it's called attachement, feelings fade over time. but for some guys who are really really really nice and have morals and principals it hurts to see those you care for move on.
if he does ask you back out, give him a chance he'll be different he'll take percausion to make you happy.
