I posted a question about what should? Get with her or go away? i'm 20, we got together last friday and its brilliant but she still says she wont be able to handle having to wait for someone to come back for like 4 months and that. Should i say to the navy cna i join next January? But will i have to do everythink again? (hope not!)........ Feel so bloody stpuid and my dad say's i should just go in the navy? Plz reply, u'd all be a good help :-)

You only been with her since last friday ?? Bit soon to put your life on hold hun. You need to look at the bigger picture. A girl who you have not been with long (and it may not last) or the chance of a lifetime. You are only 20 and have the rest of your life ahead of you. Get in the navy and find out what life is all about, oh and think of all the wrens you will meet ! You do what is right for you. Good luck sailor x

no way! go to the navy. girls come and go but joining the navy is a brilliant opportunity! if the girl is worth it she will wait for you. if i liked a guy i would wait for him and be proud that he was in the navy. it would be difficult at times but waiting for 4 months isnt that long! if you two are meant to be, you'll be together whether you are in the navy or if you're in the same town as your girl.

If she wants you enough then she'll wait, you 2 still might be together next year when you plan to join the navy, it might be even harder then. My bloke is in the army & have been together 3 years.
I say just join the navy & if she cant handle it then she aint worth it.

well personally i would still go i n the navy if thats what u always wanted to do you only met her last week not like u are madly in love is it,so its not worth changing your plan to find out in 4 weeks time that it was a waste of time and that u wished u had stuck to going in the navy!!

Go to the navy, if she cant wait then she is not the right one for you sorry to say. My hubby is in the army and he goes away months on end and its hard with out him but i cope, we have two children and they are hard work when he is away. Go and have the career you want never stop anything for someone you have just meet. i would never stop my hubby and same with him.

Your still very young if you join the navy and she waits for you well and good if not plenty more fish in the sea.

you shouldn't put your hold life on hold because of someone you've just met - if it was meant to be she will wait until you get back. 4 months is not a long time in the big scheme of things.

see its you who can decide if career is more important or the girl whom you met last froday
i think you can get other girls when you come
you must have been working hard and you want to ruin your career for a girl who cant wait for 4 months
i feel career and hardwork is more important you can get other hotter girls
